Game Day Fan Guide: March 11

The countdown to game time has begun!  For fans with tickets to the Tucson Roadrunners and San Diego Gulls game on March 11 at Tucson Arena, here’s your need to know information for the game. If you have not yet purchased tickets, a limited number are still available and can be purchased online or at the Tucson Convention Center Box Office.

What’s Up?

  • Groups of 10 or more will receive $12 tickets when purchasing through the Roadrunners Office by calling (866) 774-6253 or filling out this form.

What Are We Wearing?

Tonight the team will be wearing their red uniforms this evening.

Grab yourself a Sonoran Dog at tonight’s game!  They’re available atop Section 207.

What To Watch For

Melissa Ramirez will sing tonight’s National Anthem.

Southern Arizona Book Heroes is tonight’s Nonprofit Champion of the Night.

Roadrunners Give Back (RGB)

In light of Tucson Convention Center now being a clear bag policy venue, Roadrunners Give Back is selling Roadrunners branded clear bags for just $10.  Pick yours up tonight atop Section 216.

5 Tickets for $5.00

15 Tickets for $10.00

100 Tickets for $20.00

Of the funds raised, one lucky winner will receive 50% of the net winnings, and the remaining 50% supports Roadrunners Give Back and a portion goes to the Non-Profit Champion of the Night.  Tickets for the Roadrunners Give Back 50/50 will be available starting at 6:15 p.m.

Winner is announced in the third period.  Redeem prize at the Roadrunners Give Back table on the concourse.

Park with Ease

The ongoing construction of the new DoubleTree Suites by Hilton taking place in Lot A of the Tucson Convention Center property has reallocated several ADA/Handicap Parking spots will be limited, please allow yourself a few extra minutes ahead of tonight’s game if this impacts you.  

Please be advised that within the coming days Lot A will be closed completely and new parking offerings will be made available.

Bag Policy

Please be advised that as of January 1, 2020 the Tucson Convention Center is now a clear bag policy venue.

Bags that are larger than 13 5/8 x 15 ¼ will not be permitted through the security zone.  The Tucson Convention Center strictly prohibits large bags, briefcases, backpacks, luggage, and convertible backpack purses and does not offer holding for any items.

Mobile Ticketing

Don’t worry about losing or forgetting your tickets!  We’re going mobile to offer fans the fastest entry into Tucson Arena.  To access your tickets, log into your Account Manager via your mobile browser to access your tickets.  Mobile tickets will scan as if they were physical tickets.

Doors Open

Roadrunners Season Ticket Members will be able to enter their designated entrance at the North Doors of the Tucson Convention Center beginning at 5:45 p.m. MST

All other ticket-holding fans will be able to enter beginning at 6:00 p.m. MST

Dusty’s Kids Club

Stop by and pick up your club membership bag, Rookie and Captain levels.  The Kids Club table will be located next to the Roadrunners Give Back table on the concourse, located behind Section 217.

Kids Zone:

Kids, stop by the free Kids Zone and color your favorite Dusty.  And keep a lookout for Dusty, he plans on swinging by!

When Can We Come Back

We’re back at it Saturday, March 14 against the Texas Stars.  It’s one of the biggest nights of the year with a pregame Hockey & Hops Event, in addition to the first 1,500 receiving a Conor Garland bobblehead giveaway.

The game begins at 7:00 p.m. local time.  Watch the game on AHLTV or listen on the flagship station of the Roadrunners, Fox Sports 1450 AM.
