Miss Arizona, Food Drive, Dollar Days and Rivalry Night Highlight Six-Game Home Stand

TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, begin a promotion-packed six-game homestand that includes a visit from Miss Arizona 2017, a community food drive, $1 and $2 concession specials plus a chance to win tickets to some of Arizona’s biggest sporting attractions.
The action kicks off Friday and Saturday night at 7:05 pm as the Manitoba Moose come to town. Friday night’s game is presented by News 4 Tucson and is the first $2 beer night of the season. Saturday is the first Dollar Days game of the year, with $1 hot dogs, popcorn and soda for all fans in attendance.
Also on Saturday night the Roadrunners have teamed with Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona for the first of three scheduled food drives during the season. Fans are encouraged to bring either non-perishable food items or cash donations to the East Breezeway entrance at the TCC. Every $1 donated can provide more than four meals to children, families and seniors in the Tucson area.
The San Diego Gulls come to town for a pair of games on Tuesday, November 22 and Wednesday, November 23 at 7:05 pm. Wednesday night is Rivalry Night presented by El Charro Café of Tucson, and the Roadrunners will give fans a chance to win tickets to some great sporting events across the state of Arizona highlighted by floor seats to a University of Arizona basketball game at McKale Center. Other games to be given away include club seating for Arizona Cardinals football with a $200 food and beverage voucher, Arizona Coyotes vs. Los Angeles Kings tickets, and University of Arizona vs. Arizona State University football and hockey tickets.
After Thanksgiving, the Roadrunners round out the weekend with a pair of games against the Stockton Heat on Saturday at 7:05 pm and Sunday at 4:05 pm. Saturday’s game will feature Miss Arizona 2017 Tommy Lynn Calhoun, who will be on hand to drop the ceremonial first puck and sign autographs. Ms. Calhoun will also be speaking prior to the game at 5:30 pm telling her story of perseverance and overcoming obstacles in her life.
