TUCSON, AZ - The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today that the team will host a Tucson Toys for Tots drive in conjunction with News 4 Tucson at Saturday night’s game against the Stockton Heat, and also distribute #CunnyCan wristbands to fans in support of captain Craig Cunningham.
The Roadrunners will be giving all fans special wristbands with the hashtag “#CunnyCan” in support of team captain Craig Cunningham, who remains in the hospital after suffering a medical emergency prior to the start of last Saturday night’s game against the Manitoba Moose. All fans are encouraged to use the hashtag to show their support for Cunningham and his family during this time.
Saturday’s toy collection is a part of News 4 Tucson’s Eighth Annual Season 4 Hope campaign, which includes toy, clothing and food drives each year around the holidays. Fans may bring new, unwrapped toys to the game as part of Tucson Toys for Tots’ 2016 campaign to aid local children and families in need. The suggested age for toys ranges from newborns to 14 years old.
Tucson will also host the Stockton Heat on Sunday at 4:05 pm to round out the homestand.
Single game seats start as low as $14 and are on sale now through the TCC Box Office or at TucsonRoadrunners.com.
