November 26 morning skate notes

By: Alex Kinkopf

Good morning from Tucson Arena, where the team held a pregame skate in anticipation of tonight’s contest versus the Stockton Heat, which is scheduled for a 7:05 PM start.

Goaltender Marek Langhamer traveled from Colorado yesterday, where the Rapid City Rush have been stationed for a three-game set against the Colorado Eagles, and joined the team this morning upon his Friday recall. Langhamer appeared in one game with the Rush during his stint in Rapid City, making 33 saves on 36 shots faced, earning a win.

Adin Hill was the first goaltender to leave the ice; he is expected to draw the start.

On the ice this morning were 22 players; 13 forwards, seven defensemen, and two goaltenders. They skated as such:

FORWARDS:
BRENDAN PERLINI – CHRIS MUELLER – ERIC SELLECK
CHRISTIAN FISCHER – TYLER GAUDET – CONOR GARLAND – MATIA MARCANTUONI
MICHAEL BUNTING – RYAN MACINNIS – HENRIK SAMUELSSON
GARRET ROSS – MARK OLVER – STEFAN FOURNIER

DEFENSEMEN:
JARRED TINORDI – KYLE WOOD
DAKOTA MERMIS – JAMIE MCBAIN
BRANDON BURLON – ZBYNEK MICHALEK
JUSTIN HACHE

GOALTENDERS:
ADIN HILL
MAREK LANGHAMER

Stockton took to the ice at 11:15 AM.

Matia Marcantuoni skated as an extra on the fourth line and took rotations on defense with Justin Hache. So, as far as the morning indications go, those two are the presumed healthy scratches.

Zbynek Michalek, who was deemed ‘good to go’ on Friday by head coach Mark Lamb, skated in full to the right side of Brandon Burlon. If he is to play, it will be his first game action since October 22.

Expect a few changes to the alignment seen above come tonight’s game.
