WEEKEND HEAT: Tonight marks the fourth of eight meetings with the Heat this season, and the third of Stockton’s four scheduled visits to Tucson Arena. Stockton is playing the second of a three-game road trip; they’re coming off of a 3-1 loss to the Ontario Reign Wednesday night at Citizens Business Bank Arena. The Roadrunners are playing the second of a three-game home stand; they’re coming off of a 5-2 win over the Manitoba Moose last Friday.
LINEUP: The Roadrunners held a pregame morning skate at Tucson Arena in anticipation of tonight’s contest. Adin Hill was the first goaltender to leave the ice and is projected to start in net.

MOVEMENT: Forward Tyler Gaudet was recalled to the Arizona Coyotes early Saturday afternoon, while defenseman Dysin Mayo was assigned to the Rapid City Rush (ECHL). In 11 games with Tucson, Gaudet registered seven points (2G, 5A). Mayo recorded one assist in three games with the Roadrunners.
THE RETURN OF Z?: Zbynek Michalek was deemed ‘good to go’ by Head Coach Mark Lamb on Friday, and is likely to return to the Roadrunners’ lineup Saturday night. Michalek, who has been out with an undisclosed injury, hasn’t played since October 22. Michalek skated with Brandon Burlon during the morning skate, the two will likely serve as partners against the Heat.
THE LAST TIME AROUND: The Roadrunners have posted a perfect 3-0-0-0 mark against the Heat this season, winning twice on home ice at Tucson Arena, and once at Stockton Arena. In the teams’ previous meeting on October 30 in Tucson, the Roadrunners won 4-3, scoring three goals in the third period – Christian Fischer netting the game-winner with 4:17 left in regulation.
#CUNNYCAN: Tonight marks the first game the Roadrunners have played since the incident involving Craig Cunningham, which has left the team’s Captain hospitalized. #CunnyCan wristbands will be given away to fans at Tucson Arena.
