Roadrunners Assign Mayo, Cooper To Rapid City

TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today that the team has assigned defenseman Dysin Mayo and forward Mark Cooper to the Rapid City Rush of the ECHL.
The 6-1, 194-pound Mayo has appeared in four games for the Roadrunners this season with one assist and no penalty minutes. He was originally selected in the fifth round (#133) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Coyotes.
Cooper, 24, has seen action in four games with the Roadrunners this season totaling no points and four minutes in penalties. He made his Tucson debut on 12/2 at the Ontario Reign.
The Roadrunners will now play a pair of home games to conclude the pre-Christmas portion of the schedule Tuesday and Wednesday night against the Bakersfield Condors. Both games start at 7:05 pm. Tuesday night’s game is a News 4 Tucson Season 4 Hope collection game where starting at 4 pm fans can drop off toys, clothing and non-perishable food donations while News 4 Tucson’s Kristi Tedesco broadcasts live from the TCC during the 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts.
