Good morning from Tucson Arena, where the team held an optional morning skate in anticipation of tonight’s game against the Texas Stars, which is scheduled for a 7:05 PM start.
13 skaters were on the ice along with goaltenders Adin Hill and Justin Peters. That included the likes of Christian Fischer, Tyler Gaudet, Henrik Samuelsson, Lindsay Sparks, Ryan MacInnis, Conor Garland, Hunter Fejes, Trevor Cheek, Stefan Fournier, Dysin Mayo, Jarred Tinordi, Zbynek Michalek, and Brandon Burlon.
Adin Hill was the first goaltender off the ice and is presumed to be in line to make his 15th start of the season tonight.
Forwards Brendan Perlini and Laurent Dauphin were recalled to the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday; Michael Bunting looks to have filled the left-wing role on the first line along Chris Mueller, while Mark Olver slides up to the second line playing to the left of Tyler Gaudet and Henrik Samuelsson.
It is unclear if Zbynek Michalek will return to Mark Lamb’s lineup, he has missed the previous three games (undisclosed).
The team skated in full on Thursday; here is a projection of how the team will align tonight:
MICHAEL BUNTING – CHRIS MUELLER – CHRISTIAN FISCHER
MARK OLVER – TYLER GAUDET – HENRIK SAMUELSSON
LINDSAY SPARKS – RYAN MACINNIS – CONOR GARLAND

Texas is scheduled for an 11:15 AM skate. The Stars are playing the second of a three-game road trip tonight; they’re coming off of a 3-1 victory over the Ontario Reign Wednesday night at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
Tonight’s contest begins the Roadrunners’ first-annual ‘Wildcat Weekend’, which will run through Saturday night’s game. Tucson will wear specialty-themed jerseys for both affairs, which will then be auctioned off after being worn for the two games on Saturday night.
Tonight’s game also features $2 Beers, while Saturday’s will headline $1 Concessions.
There’s more to come on another busy game day from the Old Pueblo.
