TUCSON, AZ - Tucson Roadrunners General Manager Doug Soetaert announced today that the team has acquired forward Mitch Moroz from the Bakersfield Condors in exchange for forward Henrik Samuelsson.
The 22-year-old Moroz has skated in 17 games with the Condors this year, scoring once and adding two assists for three points. Moroz last played December 26 and is close to returning from a lower body injury. Samuelsson was originally a first round pick (#27 overall) for the Arizona Coyotes in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He appeared in 20 games for the Roadrunners with two goals and one assist for three points.
“We want to thank Henrik for his time with the organization and wish him the very best in his future,” said Soetaert.
Tucson returns to action this weekend against the Charlotte Checkers this Friday and Saturday night at Gila River Arena in Glendale, AZ. Both games start at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are on sale now through TucsonRoadrunners.com.
