SATURDAY IN SOCAL: Tonight marks the seventh of 12 meetings with the Gulls this season, and the fourth of the Roadrunners’ six scheduled visits to San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center. The Gulls are playing the first of a three-game home stand; they’re coming off of a 3-2 win over the Bakersfield Condors on Friday night. The Roadrunners are playing the fifth of a six-game road trip; they’re coming off of a 4-1 loss to the Ontario Reign Friday night.

NO HISTORY: With their loss Friday night, the Roadrunners tied their franchise-mark for consecutive defeats, dropping their fifth-straight game. Can Tucson avoid setting a new mark for consecutive games lost with a win tonight?

PROJECTED LINEUP: The team did not hold a morning skate in anticipation of tonight’s game. There is no telling whether or not any changes will be made to the lineup used Friday night in Ontario, which is listed below. A final, hockey operations-approved lineup will be posted to tonight’s Live Blog 30 minutes prior to puck drop.

FORWARDS:
BRENDAN RANFORD – CHRIS MUELLER – CHRISTIAN FISCHER
MARK OLVER – LAURENT DAUPHIN – ANTHONY DUCLAIR
MICHAEL BUNTING – TYLER GAUDET – ERIC SELLECK
CONOR GARLAND – RYAN MACINNIS – STEFAN FOURNIER
(BRANDEN TROOCK – MITCH MOROZ)

DEFENSEMEN:
ANTHONY DEANGELO – JAMIE MCBAIN
JARRED TINORDI – ZBYNEK MICHALEK
DAKOTA MERMIS – KYLE WOOD
(BRANDON BURLON)

GOALTENDERS:
ADIN HILL
AUSTIN LOTZ

TOUGH TASK: The Gulls come into the night riding a four-game win streak. They have won nine of their previous 10 games, and have earned points in 20 of their last 22 (17-2-1-2). San Diego has won its last six games on home ice at the Valley View Casino Center, where they’ve posted a 14-6-1-1 mark this season.

SCORING DOES IT: The Roadrunners are 19-1-1-0 when scoring three or more goals during a given game this season. When they score two or less, however, they have posted a 2-17-4-0 record. Can the Roadrunners’ offense provide a helping hand tonight against a strong San Diego club?

THE LAST TIME AROUND: In the teams’ previous meeting on January 28 at Tucson Arena, the Roadrunners suffered a 3-0 shutout loss to the Gulls. The Roadrunners are 1-5-0-0 in their six meetings with San Diego this season, their lone win coming on December 26 at the Valley View Casino Center, a 5-4 shootout victory. Chris Mueller netter a pair of goals, along with the game-deciding goal in the shootout.

ROAD WOES: The Roadrunners are winless in their previous eight road games, posting a 0-6-2-0 record during that span. The team’s last win away from Tucson Arena came on December 28 – a 4-1 victory over the Stockton Heat at Stockton Arena.

WE’RE DOING IT LIVE: You can catch tonight’s action on AHL Live. Roadrunners play-by-play broadcaster Tom Callahan will have the radio call on AM 1450 KTZR, which can be listened to for free HERE. Callahan’s radio coverage of tonight’s contest will begin at 7:45 PM MST.
