SAY HEY, SJ: Tonight marks the fifth of eight meetings with the Barracuda this season, and the third of San Jose’s four scheduled visits to Tucson Arena. The Barracuda are playing the third of a four-game road trip; they’re coming off of a 5-1 loss to the San Diego Gulls on Wednesday night. The Roadrunners are playing the first of a five-game home stand; they’re coming off of a 4-3 overtime loss to the Texas Stars on Wednesday.
GOOD STUFF: The Barracuda, with a .707 win percentage (39-14-2-4), come into the night atop the Pacific Division and the entire American Hockey League. San Jose is the only Pacific Division club the Roadrunners have not earned a win against this season. They are 0-3-1-0 against the Barracuda this season.
PROJECTED LINEUP: The team held an optional morning skate at Tucson Arena in anticipation of tonight’s game. The lines are expected to look similar to the ones used during Friday’s practice, which are listed below. Adin Hill is projected to start in net.

THE LAST TIME AROUND: In the teams’ previous meeting on February 25 at Tucson Arena, the Roadrunners fell to the Barracuda 4-3 in overtime. Mitch Moroz, Kyle Wood, and Laurent Dauphin scored for the Roadrunners; Adin Hill made 34 saves in the overtime loss. Timo Meier scored the game-winning goal for San Jose 1:46 into overtime.
FINAL STRETCH: Tonight’s game marks the start of the Roadrunners’ final regular season home stand, which spans five games. The club is 14-10-3-0 in 27 games played at Tucson Arena this season. Can they begin their last stretch of hockey on home ice with a win tonight?
