The Coyotes’ 2017 Prospect Development Camp begins today at AZ Ice Peoria following the team’s busy weekend at the NHL Draft in Chicago, Illinois, where the club selected nine new players.
The camp is free and open to the public, and will feature many of the organization’s newly drafted prospects, including #23 overall selection Pierre-Olivier Joseph.
Of the 38 players on the Camp roster, four names wore Roadrunners uniforms during the 2016-17 season: Forwards Christian Fischer and Conor Garland, and defensemen Kyle Capobianco, and Jalen Smereck.
The camp begins Monday afternoon with the first session scheduled to go from 2:00 – 4:15 PM. The players will skate again on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and also on Thursday morning from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. There is no on-ice session slated for Wednesday.
The players will participate in an intra-squad game on Friday evening at 6:00 PM.
