Roadrunners Partner With 360fly To Give Fans Unprecedented 4K Perspective

By: Tucson Roadrunners

TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today the team has partnered with 360fly to provide fans with unprecedented 360 degree views in 4K resolution this season via the team’s video channels.

360fly, maker of the category-leading, single-lens camera that captures stitchless 360-degree 4K video, is proud to provide cutting-edge 360fly 4K camera to their first hockey partner, the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League. 360fly pairs with a free iOS and Android mobile app, which allows users to conveniently shoot, edit and share content to popular social media channels, such as YouTube and Facebook. The 4K camera boasts a powerful new image sensor that shoots in 2880x2880.

The Roadrunners were the first hockey team to use this technology at the Red/White Game this past Sunday. The team shot a timelaspe video over center ice while a referee wore a 360fly cam on his helmet during the action for a truly unique perspective.

During many events this season including opening night, the Roadrunners will use 360fly cams in many different ways to give fans this unprecedented look at the arena and Roadrunners games. Fans can view the footage from the Red/White game via the team’s official page at YouTube.com/RoadrunnersAHL or on the team’s media page at TucsonRoadrunners.com/media/video/ as well.

Keep an eye on the team’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts for previews and more exclusive footage as well.

The inaugural home opener is Friday, October 28 at 7:05 pm against the Stockton Heat. Full and partial season ticket plans are on sale as well as single game seats. Call 866-77-HOCKEY for more information or visit TucsonRoadrunners.com.
