Coyotes Assign Tinordi to Roadrunners

TUCSON, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have assigned defenseman Jarred Tinordi to the Tucson Roadrunners, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).
The 24-year-old Tinordi has registered 0-6-6 in 53 career NHL games and played in 7 games with the Coyotes last season.
The 6-foot-6, 225-pound defenseman was Montreal's 1st choice (1st round, 22nd overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
In addition, the Roadrunners announced that the team has recalled goaltender Austin Lotz from the Rapid City Rush of the ECHL. The St. Adolphe, Manitoba native has appeared in one game for the Rush with a 0-1 mark, .936 save percentage and a 3.07 goals-against average.
Tucson is back in action tonight at the Bakersfield Condors. Puck drop is slated for 6 pm PT with the pregame show starting at 5:45 pm on flagship station 1450 KTZR with Tom Callahan.
