10 Things To Know: Home Opener

PLAZA PARTY: Food, drinks, and entertainment will be available outside of Tucson Arena starting at 5:00 PM. Enjoy the amenities provided such as a Food Truck, Coyotes Youth Mobile Tour, and live music iHeart Radio tent!
 
EARLY BIRDS: The puck is scheduled to drop just after 7:05 PM, but doors to Tucson Arena will be open to the public promptly at 5:30. Get in early, beat the lines, and be comfortable for pre-game warm-ups, which begin at 6:30 PM PST.
 
COMMEMORATIVE TICKET: Every fan in attendance will receive a special commemorative ticket presented by Crest Insurance for Friday night’s game, printed on card-stock paper, signifying the date and featuring the team’s inaugural season logo, with the 2016-’17 home schedule printed on the back.
 
DUSTY’S DEBUT: Our new mascot, Dusty, will make his debut Friday night during the pregame ceremony. Howler, the Coyotes’ mascot, will join Dusty and each will be in the stands entertaining fans throughout the game!
 
MERCHANDISE: Official Roadrunners merchandise will be available for purchase in-person at Tucson Arena for the first time. A select number of replica jerseys, along with numerous styles of t-shirts, hats and other apparel will be on sale!
 
MEET THE TEAM: See some of the youngest and brightest prospects in the Arizona Coyotes’ system play in Tucson. Future stars such as Adin Hill, Conor Garland, and Kyle Wood will be donning the Roadrunners’ home uniforms for the first time.
 
SNAPCHAT: Add us on Snapchat and use our custom opening night filter for all of your pictures and videos! We’ll be giving away two tickets to Sunday’s game in the eighth row behind the net to the person who posts our favorite snap of the night!
 
COYOTES YOUTH MOBILE TOUR: Stop by the Coyotes’ Youth Mobile Tour on the plaza before the game! All kids get in free, receive a hat, and get their rookie card photo taken.
 
MAYOR: Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild will be in attendance to drop the ceremonial first puck of the game along with a few other city officials, and will present a special proclamation to the Roadrunners afterward!
