The American Hockey League has announced that the 20-21 season will begin on February 5.
When will the regular season and playoffs end?
The AHL is continuing to work on all scheduling details and playoff formats for the upcoming season. We will communicate any info as soon as we receive it.
How many games will be in the upcoming season?
All details are being continually worked on by the AHL and will be communicated to members, partners, and fans as soon as they are determined.
When will the schedule be released?
There is not currently a release date determined. As soon as the AHL has finalized the schedule, we will share with fans, partners, and members.
Has the NHL determined a start date for the upcoming season?
The NHL season will begin on Wednesday, January 13 with the Arizona Coyotes opening the season on Thursday, January 14 at Gila River Arena against San Jose.
How will seating work for the upcoming season?
We are continuing to work on seating plans for the upcoming season in conjunction with the state of Arizona, Pima County, and city of Tucson. Seating details will be communicated in the coming weeks as we approach the AHL start date.
