RRTV In The Community: Painting It Tucson
Tucson, Arizona- Roadrunners Mural Artist Alejandra Trujillo began this week at the Boys & Girls Clubs on 3155 E Grant Road. As part of a larger beautification project for the Boys & Girls Clubs campus with several community partners, the mural is being painted on a storage container next to the DEK Hockey Rink at the club that was unveiled by the Roadrunners in 2018.

The continued their Summer Runners Weekend Face-Off Friday at Tucson Arena with a Blood Drive, Bottled Water Collection and 21-22 Closeout Sale with all proceeds going to Roadrunners Give Back. The Closeout sale included team used hockey sticks, gloves, helmets and unused workout gear.

he Tucson Roadrunners hosted their first event of Summer Runners at Hub Ice Cream Thursday night to debut their all-new Rocky Roadrunner Ice Cream on National Rocky Road Ice Cream Day. The Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank was on hand as well collecting loose change. In addition, The Hub will donate a portion of all proceeds from Rocky Roadrunner Ice Cream to Roadrunners Give Back, a branch of the Arizona Coyotes Foundation.

Boko Imama Named Roadrunners Person Of Year
The Arizona Coyotes acquired Imama this past offseason where he went on to appear in 54 games for the Roadrunners totaling four goals, five assists and 10 fights. After 207 career AHL games, he made his NHL debut on April 22 at Gila River Arena against Washington and scored his first NHL goal the following night against St. Louis to start a third period comeback. His first NHL fight took place on April 29 in the season finale as he appeared in four total games with Arizona.
