The Tucson Roadrunners, owned and operated by the Arizona Coyotes, are proud to introduce local artist Alejandra Trujillo who has been selected to paint a Roadrunners inspired mural at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson on 3155 East Grant Road.

The continued their Summer Runners Weekend Face-Off Friday at Tucson Arena with a Blood Drive, Bottled Water Collection and 21-22 Closeout Sale with all proceeds going to Roadrunners Give Back. The Closeout sale included team used hockey sticks, gloves, helmets and unused workout gear.

RRTV In The Community: Sweet Hub at Hub Ice Cream

he Tucson Roadrunners hosted their first event of Summer Runners at Hub Ice Cream Thursday night to debut their all-new Rocky Roadrunner Ice Cream on National Rocky Road Ice Cream Day. The Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank was on hand as well collecting loose change. In addition, The Hub will donate a portion of all proceeds from Rocky Roadrunner Ice Cream to Roadrunners Give Back, a branch of the Arizona Coyotes Foundation.

Boko Imama Named Roadrunners Person Of Year

The Arizona Coyotes acquired Imama this past offseason where he went on to appear in 54 games for the Roadrunners totaling four goals, five assists and 10 fights. After 207 career AHL games, he made his NHL debut on April 22 at Gila River Arena against Washington and scored his first NHL goal the following night against St. Louis to start a third period comeback. His first NHL fight took place on April 29 in the season finale as he appeared in four total games with Arizona.

Dusty paid a visit to Banner Health’s Diamond Children’s Medical Center on May 4 to deliver the hundreds of stuffed animals that fans donated at the season finales for Banner’s Child Life Program where they thrive on receiving donations from the Tucson Community and through their wish list on Amazon.

Jim Click Automotive Team Provides 1,000 Tickets for Students At Pima County Schools

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners, owned and operated by the Arizona Coyotes, thank the Jim Click Automotive team for providing 1,000 tickets for local students and families in Pima County Schools to attend 6:30 p.m. Roadrunners games Tuesday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 6.

Roadrunners Host Autism Acceptance Night Saturday

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners, owned and operated by the Arizona Coyotes will host Autism Acceptance Night presented by Pizza Hut Saturday as part of Autism Acceptance Month which runs from April 1-30. Tucson hosts Rockford at 7 p.m. Saturday after the home stand opens Friday with El Lazo de Tucson. 

Roadrunners To Sponsor Mural At Boys & Girls Club

Tucson, Arizona - The Tucson Roadrunners, owned and operated by the Arizona Coyotes, seek experienced and talented visual artists, artist teams, and arts organizations to create a unique mural installation on a shipping container located next to the roller hockey rink (DEK Hockey) at the Boys & Girls Club at 3155 E Grant Road.

Dusty spent Wednesday afternoon at Bookmans on Speedway for a Read-Along, crafts and of course fun with prizes and ticket giveaways. The Roadrunners are happy to team with Bookmans for the team’s Elementary School Reading Program.

With the Roadrunners back home from Tucson, they are not the only ones playing hockey. The Tucson Police Department and the Fire Department will be going head-to-head Friday where they will compete at 4 p.m for charity and will also claim a winning trophy. Department Deputy Chief Eric Kazmierczak and Tucson Fire Department’s Captain Corey Dorman preview the action and their featured Charity the Officer Eric Hite Foundation.

The Roadrunners opened the 2022 schedule with a four-game home stand at the Tucson Arena, playing a pair of games each against the Stockton Heat and Colorado Eagles. The Roadrunners opened the calendar year with a tight 2-1 win over the first-place Heat and battled back to force a shootout in the series opener with the Eagles. The Roadrunners will be back at home to close out the month of January with a three-game set against the Bakersfield Condors. The series with the Edmonton Oilers AHL affiliate includes a 3-2-3 night on Friday, January 28, and Star Wars Night the following evening on January 29.
