Roadrunners Host Teddy Bear Toss Saturday

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners have partnered with Tucson Electric Power to host their annual Teddy Bear Toss after the team’s first goal of Saturday night’s game with Stockton at 7 p.m.

Tucson enters the week having won four of their last five games, including two on the road in Iowa and Colorado. The Roadrunners have outscored their opponents 15-7 during that span, averaging three goals per game while only allowing 2.2 goals per game by their opponents. Tucson will look to get another win streak started this weekend back home at the Tucson Arena against the Stockton Heat and Henderson Silver Knights.

Tucson Roadrunners Road Ahead: Cruising To Colorado

The Roadrunners will travel north to take on the Colorado Eagles for a pair of games at the Budweiser Events Center Friday and Saturday in Loveland. Tucson is looking to extend their active winning streak to four games in the series opener against the Eagles. Colorado enters the series with a 7-7-1-2 record and a three-game point streak, after beginning the season 0-4-0-1.

Tucson Roadrunners Road Ahead: Abbotsford Is Arriving

The Roadrunners will head home and host the Abbotsford Canucks for the first time in franchise history for a pair of games Friday and Saturday night at the Tucson Arena. Both games will face-off at 7:00 p.m. MST. The Canucks are currently 4-4-2-1, with a +1 goal differential. They’ll enter the series on a two-game point streak (1-0-0-1). Tucson will look to start the all-time series with Abbotsford off with a pair of wins, before the Roadrunners travel to Abbotsford December 22 and 23. The special food item for the weekend with the Canucks will be Arizona-Style Poutine.

Tucson Roadrunners Road Ahead: Off To Iowa

The Roadrunners will travel east for the first time this season to take on the Iowa Wild in Des Moines. The Wild are one of three AHL Central Division teams Tucson will be meeting this season, along with the Texas Stars and Rockford Ice Hogs. The Roadrunners will be facing the Wild for the first time since December 2019, when they won a pair of games at the Wells Fargo Arena. The Roadrunners were 4-0 against the Minnesota Wild affiliate that season, outscoring them 11-3.

Tucson Roadrunners Road Ahead: On The Road Again

The Roadrunners will head out onto the road to face the reigning Pacific Division runners-up, the Henderson Silver Knights. The Knights enter the week with a 3-2-1 record, with all three wins coming at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Tucson and Henderson squared off for three games in the preseason and Tucson won both games in Las Vegas to finish the preseason with a 2-1 record. Henderson will have a Wednesday night matchup with the Ontario Reign before they welcome the Roadrunners to their home ice on Friday.
