CHICAGO, IL – They call it the windy city, probably from all the pucks whizzing by the Chicago goalie as the Tucson Roadrunners defeated the Chicago Wolves 4-0 on Saturday night to improve to 20-10-1-1 on the year from the Allstate Arena.

Game #32: Tucson Roadrunners vs. Chicago Wolves

The Tucson Roadrunners enter game three of their five-game road trip and game two of their two-game weekend series against the Chicago Wolves. Tucson enters tonight’s game having lost their last two games in regulation. The last time Tucson lost two in regulation was on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 both against the Bakersfield Condors. In addition, when the Roadrunners were in threat of losing three in a row, they defeated the Chicago Wolves back at the TCC and went on their great two-month run. As for Chicago, they have defeated two of the top three teams in the Pacific Division, beating the Texas Stars on Tuesday 3-2 and the Roadrunners 4-1 on Friday as they look to match their season-high winning streak at three.

The Tucson Roadrunners continue their five-game road trip with game two in the Mid-West at the windy city of Chicago against the Wolves. Tucson’s five-game win streak came to an end at the hands of the San Jose Barracuda on Wednesday, but the Roadrunners are 2-0 this season against Chicago. These two teams last met in the beginning of November on the third and fourth where Tucson swept the Wolves in two games. Since the beginning of November when the Roadrunners won the two games at the TCC against Chicago, the team is 16-6-1-1.

SAN JOSE, CA – They say all good things must come to an end including Tucson’s five game winning-streak as the Roadrunners fell to the San Jose Barracuda 6-4 on Wednesday night to fall to 19-9-1-1 on the year from the SAP Center in San Jose.

The Tucson Roadrunners are riding a five-game win streak heading on a five-game road trip beginning in the Bay Area against the San Jose Shark’s affiliate San Jose Barracuda. TUCSON, AZ – If every one of the 6,087 Roadrunners fans in attendance counted the fingers on one of their hands it would equal the number of Tucson wins in a row as the Roadrunners defeated San Diego 3-2 to improve to 19-8-1-1 on the year Saturday night at Tucson Arena.

Game #29: Tucson Roadrunners vs. San Diego Gulls

The Tucson Roadrunners close out 2023 with a single-game matchup against the San Diego Gulls after defeating the Coachella Valley Firebirds 3-1 on Friday to make it four straight wins. Tucson, who is 18-8-1-1 at 38 points, has a chance to make it a season high five-straight wins and get a four-point jump on the Abbotsford Canucks, who are 17-9-2-0 and at 36 points in the Pacific Division standings. The Roadrunners defeated the San Diego Gulls before the holiday break on Saturday, Dec 23, and look to make it three wins in a row in the season series against their Southern California rival.
