The schedule was released Friday morning, 40 games, seven opponents, six games against six of them and four against Stockton.
The official home opener will be a 6:30 p.m. start against Ontario on Friday, February 18. We are in constant contact with our partners at Pima County, the City of Tucson and the Tucson Arena regarding health and safety as it relates to our community and fans at home games. As we begin to get updates approaching the Home Opener and the home schedule, you’ll be the first to know!
Preseason kicks off this weekend against Ontario in Los Angeles, with preseason home games that will be closed to the public next Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Monday, February 1 at 5 p.m. Both home games will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1450 AM and the iHeart Radio app.
New Head Coach Steve Potvin was introduced Friday morning. A member of the Roadrunners staff as an Assistant Coach for the previous three seasons as the team has posted the best record in the Pacific Division during that stretch. Tucson was fourth in the AHL in goals-per-game and had three of the top 15 leading scorers in the league last season with Potvin overseeing the forwards and power-play.
