Michael Bunting scored the overtime winner Friday night for Tucson, securing Tucson’s 31st win of the season. The fourth-year forward now ranks 14thamong all league scorers with 44 points.

Forward Brayden Burke moved his point streak all the way to nine consecutive games with either a goal or an assist, matching the franchise’s record this past week. Burke also became the first member of the team to reach 20 goals this season and overtook the Pacific Division points lead as well with 21 goals and 28 assists for 49 points in 47 games.

Tuesday it was announced that the #5 overall draft selection in the 2018 NHL Draft, Barrett Hayton, would join Tucson on a three-game conditioning loan as he worked his way back to full health. Playing in each contest this week, Hayton recorded four points, including a goal Wednesday in Bakersfield and a three-assist night Saturday in Ontario.
