The Tucson Roadrunners open their season on the road against the Colorado Eagles to start the 2024-25 season. It will be Tucson’s first of nine series matchups against Pacific Division teams and the first of two trips to Colorado this season. The Roadrunners look to build off its historic 2023-24 campaign, where the team finished with the most wins in team history (43-23-4-2), and the Whiteout returned to Tucson Arena in the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2018.

2024-25 Begins: The Roadrunners kick off their ninth season in a two-game slate versus the Colorado Eagles, AHL Affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche. Nearly 170 days after the Roadrunners finished their 2023-24 season with a playoff berth and 43-23-4-2 record. Tucson capped off the preseason with a two-game sweep over the Henderson Silver Knights on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5; outscoring the Vegas Golden Knights Affiliate 10-4 in those two matches. Out of the 26 skaters that suited up in a preseason game for Tucson, 18 of them had a point; including 2023 draft pick Noel Nordh who had two goals and two assists for four points in two preseason games played. Fifth year Roadrunners Forward Ryan McGregor also had a tremendous preseason weekend; notching three assists in two games.

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners have announced that their first-ever Face-Off Gala will take place on Wednesday, October 16 at 6 p.m. at the Tucson Convention Center. This event has been held as a luncheon over the Team’s first eight seasons but will now be an evening event creating more of an opportunity for fans to attend.

HENDERSON, NV – The Roadrunners began right where they left off from Friday’s 6-2 victory; with a three goal first period and 4-2 win over the Silver Knights for the two-game preseason sweep. Noel Nordh finished the preseason as the top Tucson scorer with two goals and two assists for four points. Ryan McGregor followed suit as he finished with three assists in the two games: bringing his great two-way play back to the Roadrunners after missing the second half of last season with an ankle injury. Tucson finishes the preseason with 10 total goals while allowing just three to Henderson.

HENDERSON, NV – The Roadrunners began the Preseason in style with an impressive 6-2 victory over the Henderson Silver Knights. Tucson scored five unanswered goals in the second period after a 1-1 first frame and eventually held on for the 6-2 victory.

Season nine in Southern Arizona is unofficially underway. The Tucson Roadrunners travel to Henderson for two preseason games against the Silver Knights at Lee's Family Forum. Of the current 26 players on the training camp roster, 10 are returning from last year’s Roadrunners squad. Five players on the roster have appeared against the Roadrunners in previous seasons for other Pacific Division Teams. As for the Silver Knights, their training camp roster began with 29 players, including 16 who played in at least one game with the Silver Knights last season.
