Roadrunners, Fox Sports 1450 AM and iHeart Media Announce Multi-Year Agreement

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners, owned and operated by the Arizona Coyotes, announced today a multi-year agreement with Tucson’s Sports Station Fox Sports 1450 AM and iHeartMedia to continue as the team’s Radio Broadcast Home and Official Radio Partner.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with the Tucson Roadrunners as the flagship radio stations for the 2021-2022 season, and beyond,” said Nick Bruns, iHeartMedia-Tucson Senior Vice President of Programming. “Roadrunners fans have grown accustomed to cheering on the team in Tucson while listening on Fox Sports 1450, or anywhere around the country with the free iHeartRadio app.”

All Roadrunners games during the preseason, regular season and postseason will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1450 AM and the iHeartRadio app with “Voice of the Roadrunners” Adrian Denny beginning his fourth season in Tucson. Roadrunners Warmup with Jimmy Peebles will begin Game Day Coverage 15 minutes prior to face-off.

Coverage for Wednesday’s preseason game at Tucson Arena against Henderson will begin at 6:15 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. face-off. The team will then continue to Las Vegas for more preseason action Sunday and Monday with 7 p.m. puck drops against the Silver Knights from Orleans Arena on Fox Sports 1450 AM and the iHeartRadio app.

Tuesday at 5 p.m. on Fox Sports 1450 AM, Denny will host Roadrunners Happy Hour every week with Brett Fera, the Roadrunners Reporter from the Arizona Daily Star. The season premiere of this year’s show will be this evening.

The Roadrunners Insider Podcast with Denny and Peebles will drop new episodes from Fox Sports 1450 AM every Monday on the iHeartRadio app. The two will also preview the week of Roadrunners Hockey every Tuesday at 8:55 a.m. on Tucson’s Sports Station.

In addition, all iHeartRadio stations in Tucson will air the “Roadrunners Report with Adrian Denny” Monday-Friday. Denny will also anchor Roadrunners Hockey Weekend on all Tucson iHeart stations every Wednesday to look forward to upcoming games with a weekly guest.

Opening Weekend at Tucson Arena for the Roadrunner is Saturday, October 23 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, October at 4 p.m. against Texas.
