
Game Recap: Tucson (5) at Ontario (6)
Ontario, California – The Roadrunners concluded their six-game road trip Sunday afternoon with the second of two weekend matchups against the Ontario Reign at the Toyota Arena. Both teams were effective on their power-play, with each unit scoring three goals while on the man advantage. Michael Carcone, Jan Jenik, Matias Maccelli, Vlad Kolyachonok and Travis Barron each extended their active point streaks of at least three games in the contest.

Game #31: Tucson at Ontario
The Tucson Roadrunners will play the final game of their two-week road trip Sunday afternoon, a rematch with the Ontario Reign at the Toyota Arena. The Reign took the first game of the series Saturday night, evening the overall season series at two wins apiece. The Roadrunners saw some key players return to the ice Saturday night, as forwards Blake Speers, Terry Broadhurst, and Ben McCartney all made their way back into the Tucson lineup.

Game Recap: Tucson (3) at Ontario (7)
Ontario, California – The Roadrunners continued their road trip to Southern California to face the fourth and final team on the trip, the Ontario Reign, Saturday night at the Toyota Arena. The Reign were relentless on the attack, backed by a Martin Frk hat trick, and handed the Roadrunners a 7-3 loss in the first of two matchups over the weekend in Ontario. Tucson recorded 25 shots on goal over their last two periods, with all three goals being scored from the second period onward.

Game #30: Tucson at Ontario
The Tucson Roadrunners begin the final weekend of their six-game road trip with a pair of games against the Ontario Reign at the Toyota Arena. Saturday’s game marks the first of the weekend, and first meeting between the Roadrunners and Reign since December 18, 2021, at the Toyota Arena. Tucson will look to stay perfect in Ontario this year with a win Saturday night.

Game Recap: Tucson (3) at Bakersfield (6)
Bakersfield, California – The Tucson Roadrunners faced the Bakersfield Condors for the first time since March 1, 2020 Wednesday night at the Mechanics Bank Arena. The Roadrunners jumped out to a 2-0 lead but a pair of power-play goals by the Condors tied up the game late in the second period. Bakersfield continued to rally to hand the Roadrunners a 6-3 loss in game four of the six-game road trip. Goaltender Ivan Prosvetov returned to the crease for the Roadrunners after a start with the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday, January 14, and stopped 22 shots on goal.

Game #29: Tucson at Bakersfield
The Tucson Roadrunners will continue their six-game road trip down to Southern California, beginning with a midweek matchup against the Bakersfield Condors Wednesday night. Wednesday’s contest marks the first meeting this season between the Roadrunners and Condors on the season. Tucson and Bakersfield will meet again for a three-game set at the end of the month back at the Tucson Arena beginning on January 26. Game Recap: Tucson (1) at Stockton (4)
Stockton, California – The Tucson Roadrunners took on the Stockton Heat for the seventh time of the 2021-2022 campaign Saturday night on the road at the Stockton Arena. The Roadrunners battled back late to score a power-play goal, but in the end fell by a score of 4-1. Josef Korenar started in net for the third time in four games for the Roadrunners and stopped 28 shots on goal.

Game #28: Tucson at Stockton
The Tucson Roadrunners continue their six-game road trip with their second of four opponents, the Stockton Heat Saturday night for the Roadrunners first-ever televised road game. The matchup with the first-place Heat will be broadcast live in Southern Arizona on The CW Tucson for the team’s fourth televised contest of the season. The Roadrunners began the 2021-2022 season in Stockton, splitting the opening series with an overtime win on October 15.

San Jose, California – The Tucson Roadrunners concluded their series against the San Jose Barracuda with game two of their six-game road trip across California Friday night at the SAP Center. Tucson outshot the Barracuda but couldn’t get the bounces they were looking for while on offense, falling to San Jose by a score of 3-0. Josef Korenar started his second-straight contest for the Roadrunners and recorded 21 saves in his second meeting with his former team.

Game #27: Tucson at San Jose
The Tucson Roadrunners are back at the SAP Center Friday night for a rematch with the San Jose Barracuda, after a 4-3 come-from-behind victory on Wednesday to begin the road trip. The Roadrunners first fell behind with just 4:12 gone by in the first period but scored a pair of goals 1:08 apart in the third period to take their first lead with 5:52 remaining in regulation. Tucson netminder Josef Korenar earned the victory in his first meeting against his former team, after spending the last three seasons as a member of the San Jose Sharks organization.

Game Recap: Tucson (4) at San Jose (3)
San Jose, California – The Tucson Roadrunners opened their two-week road trip against the San Jose Barracuda at the SAP Center Wednesday night. The Roadrunners rallied after trailing 2-1 midway through the third period to come away with a 4-3 comeback win against the AHL’s San Jose Sharks. Tucson goaltender Josef Korenar earned the win in his first meeting against his former team, as he stopped 20 shots on goal. Forwards Matias Maccelli and Boko Imama each extended their active point streaks to four games, as Maccelli had one goal and two assists.

Game #26: Tucson at San Jose
The Tucson Roadrunners open their two-week, six-game road trip with the first matchup of the season against the San Jose Barracuda Wednesday night at the SAP Center in San Jose. Tucson and San Jose last faced off in the 2021 AHL Pacific Division Tournament, when current Roadrunners goaltenders Ivan Prosvetov and Josef Korenar went head-to-head in Irvine, California. Wednesday’s game also marks the Roadrunners first trip to the SAP Center since February 2020.
